MP Fouzia Khan Vows Continued Protest Against New Waqf Amendment Bill 2025
New Delhi [India], April 4 (ANI): Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Member of Parliament Fouzia Khan On Friday stated their intention to keep protesting against the Waqf Amendment Bill 2025.
"The legislation has been rammed through just as the farmers’ bill was... We will keep protesting against this bill... The land was gifted by our forebears for spiritual reasons... The Waqf board is a religious entity... This law is not constitutional and we intend to challenge it in the Supreme Court and get it overturned," Khan stated.
Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav said, "So what if the bill is passed? Those who have the majority, their bill gets passed..."
