Natasha Reveals: Helicopter Ride to Kogi Rally Was My Husband’s Brainchild

The suspended senator from Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, revealed that her spouse suggested utilizing a helicopter for her trip to her constituency.

Akpoti-Uduaghan revealed this information during an interview on Politics Today, a program aired by Channels TV on Thursday.

Recently, the Kogi state government has enforced limitations on political gatherings and processions, stating security issues as the reason.

Even so, numerous supporters assembled in Ihima, within the Okehi Local Government Area, to greet her warmly.

When speaking to them, she stated, "This place is my home; this is my hometown. No one has the power to prevent me from returning here. I am the daughter of the late Dr. Abdul Akpoti."

In response to queries regarding the helicopter choice, she stated, "This was my spouse's suggestion. As all routes to my home were obstructed, he proposed using a helicopter as an alternative."

She asserted that the restrictions were intentionally aimed at her, as they aligned with her scheduled visit.

“I didn’t violate any laws.”

"The assembly occurred on my land. I constructed the pathway to my home. Therefore, no laws were violated," she claimed.
