Gold Price Soars: Tola Hits Record High of Rs325,500

On Thursday, gold prices hit a new peak in Pakistan, consistent with the global upward trend. In the domestic market, the cost of one tola of gold surged to Rs325,500 following a daily increment of Rs500. Likewise, ten grams of gold were priced at Rs279,063, showing an uplift of Rs428 from the previous day’s figures, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Due to the ongoing Eid celebrations, trading activities in the bullion sector had been halted. Internationally, gold saw further gains; APGJSA noted that the price stood at $3,089 per ounce plus a markup of $20—an additional gain of $5 over the course of the day. Silver prices stayed steady at Rs3,580 for each tola.
