Nigerian hip-hop artist Odumodublvck has disclosed that he received a significant amount of money to promote opposition to Labour Party's 2023 presidential nominee, Peter Obi, yet he rejected the offer.

The hip-hop artist made the admission when responding to criticism for requesting Obi to back his forthcoming album.

In response to criticism on social media, Odumodublvck stood firm behind his request, highlighting that he had previously made significant sacrifices for the politician.

"Consult Abbas; I was presented with an amount of money I'd never laid eyes on to speak out against Mr. Peter, yet I declined. Requesting him to support my latest album isn’t unreasonable since I’m not one to chase after handouts. I’ve dedicated my entire life to this person. Not a chance. The Machine is approaching," he penned.
