Lee Eun-ha Betrayed Her Family and Assaulted Her Mother, Wasting Away Hard-Earned Money

Singer Lee Eun-ha shared her painful family background.

On the 30th, the 'Bezzangi Entertainment' channel uploaded a video featuring singer Lee Eunha titled 'The Outburst of Anger and Sorrow During My Parents’ Cheondojae.'

Lee Eun-ha mentioned, “I enjoyed the music and receiving praise from people. Until I reached 30 years old, I wasn’t very knowledgeable about finances; my dad handled everything related to money. Up till then, I hadn’t been aware of our financial guarantees either. My father would just perform and live off that,” she shared. However, at 32, her father abruptly faced bankruptcy which led to mental instability. As a result, Lee found herself expelled from their grand residence, feeling as though the world had gone dark. She admitted this experience stemmed from enduring her father’s business failure.

Lee Eun-ha mentioned, “My mother was a shaman, yet I despised it greatly. Therefore, I did not handle things properly when she passed away. I believed there should have been considerable animosity toward my parents, which led me to want to ease their spirits through Cheondojae rituals. It seemed essential for me to release those feelings and find forgiveness,” he explained.

Lee Eun-ha mentioned that her father was unfaithful and abusive, often resorting to violence against her during his infidelities. However, her mother approved of this behavior, believing it acceptable even if she herself got struck. Her mother failed to comprehend her dilemma. On Lunar New Year’s Day, Lee Eun-ha was required to use her father's stamp for some purpose, yet he refused since it was the holiday, citing the date as an excuse.

"I earned enough to buy a hat even after hitting a 100-story building, yet I wonder where the money went? No, I can’t speak about this as I feel too ashamed on national television. My mom stood strong through every phase; she’s petite, around just 150 cm tall. Yet despite her size, whenever my dad betrayed her and hurt her feelings, he would push her so hard that she’d lose consciousness. The following morning, regardless of the bruises on my face from the previous night, I still prepared breakfast for my father and served him," he sighed once more.
