Prudential Bank Showcases Generosity: Donates to Muslims in Tamale for Eid Celebration

On behalf of Prudential Bank, the Tamale Branch has presented a donation of GH₵10,000 to the Kukuo Laststop Jummah Mosque in Tamale. This contribution aims to assist local Muslims as they celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr this year.

Led by Branch Manager Sumaila Mahama, the three-person team presented the donation to the Mosque with assistance from Chief Adam Lansah of Wurishie and the mosque’s Imam, Adam Nayi Alhassan, during a short ceremony held in Tamale.

On behalf of the Bank, Mr. Mahama presented the check, stating that the institution values its connection with Muslims in the nation. He mentioned that this contribution serves as a gesture to show their appreciation. "Your warm welcome is greatly appreciated," he added.

"This is Prudential Bank's small gesture to support the Muslim community during the celebration of Eid following the holy month of Ramadan," he stated.

Upon receiving the donation, Chief Adam Lansah, the Head of Wurishie, expressed his gratitude to the Bank, stating that it would be utilized effectively for everyone's welfare. "We deeply appreciate your kindness," he said.

The Branch Manager was joined by Inusah Yakubu, who works as a Relationship Officer, and Baba Mohammed Saani, the Deputy Operations Manager, both of whom are employed at the branch located in Tamale.

During the Ramadan season earlier this year, Prudential Bank aimed to show their support and unity with local Muslim communities and customers by initiating several donation drives across their branches' coverage zones. These actions were taken to commemorate this year's observance of Ramadan.

The bank provided care kits for 100 esteemed Retail and 30 Corporate Muslim clients at chosen locations. These kits contained an assortment of breakfast goods aimed at assisting the customers throughout their fasting period.
